A definite theme to this blog seems to have emerged. Gardens, gardens and more gardens. Yes, I definitely think my fondness of the green and growing has shown itself as part of my lifestyle. However it wasn't the gardens that drew me back to this place which had firmly planted itself in my memory.
I had remembered a delightful lunch had here many years ago with a good friend and wanted to renew my acquaintance with the quaintness of this cafe located some 5 kms outside Mundairing.
Mum and I had a delicious afternoon tea of scones, cheese and chutney which we thoroughly enjoyed, mind you I think the magpies outside were equally happy with their high tea.
