The intriguing title, "Dancing on your Grave", gave some indication as to what the concert was to be all about, that and the blurb that I had read in my Art Festival magazine. It is most unusual for my friends and I to venture out during the week, as work takes its toll, and there is not too much energy left after a day at the chalk face, so to speak.

Even so I am always disappointed that due to the Festival's timing I only get to see one or two shows from it each year. So as the opportunity presented itself, we headed off into the city last Monday evening. The train is a fast way in and at that time of day it is a pleasant ride without the hassle of parking at the other end.
The summer evening was balmy with only the hint of a breeze

to cool it down. The lights on the buildings created lines of light against the darkening night sky as we walked towards the large marquee located on the Perth Foreshore's esplanade. Photographs were banned once inside the temporary theatre which was a pity as the inside was a pleasant surprise, quite avant-garde with sofas, cushions, tables and chairs.
So it was with anticipation that we all sat down and watched, what was in part, a very entertaining show, though if I am honest, not quite my thing.
