Kalamunda is about a 35 - 40 minute drive from the CBD. A small town nestled in the hills behind Perth it has a charm that is really only found in the country. A friend and I went to the market held once a month on the first Saturday of the month.
It was packed with people and atmosphere. Lots of interesting knick knacks for sale, especially suited to the upcoming festive season. What I really like though was the price of vegetables. I actually bought three decent sized mangoes for $4. It was a lot cheaper than my local supermarket.
