The "NO" vote won the Daylight Saving Referendum..........so I and the other Yes voters will take our extra hour and disappear for at least a decade.
Having said that I don't suppose we should express surprise at the outcome because W A has only voted, "Yes" once, in any referendum.
Funnily enough it didn't change anything at all........and that question was.
"Should Western Australia be self-governing and separate from the rest of Australia?"
All I can say is thank goodness we didn't because we might still be communicating with crystal radio sets.
