Around home - early morning

Early rising becomes a way of life now I am back at work. The routine stays the same for the term. Up at 6ish, breakfast, shower, walk the dog and then off to teach my Year 5/6 class.

The bonus of walking at dawn is the freshness of everything. I caught these silver crested cockatoos and pink and grey gallahs (parrots) feeding on the school oval just over the road from my place.
However they are not the only ones making a noise at such an early hour. The workmen building this house, two down from mine, are always there before I walk past.
