The Grizzle: The not so was the fact that we saw a number of patrons turned away shortly after 9.00pm because the kitchen had closed (luckily we'd arrived just after 8.30). The fact that late diners struggle to find a place to eat a decent meal at what is a relatively early hour seems to be quite typical of the 50's mentality that appears to pervade this side of Australia. While discussing this fact friends, we'd planned to meet later, messaged us to say that the pub was closing and they had to leave. It was not yet 10.00 pm.
About Me

- Lynda Turk
- Perth/Fremantle, Western Australia, Australia
- An independent, working woman, I live in a riverside suburb close to both Fremantle and Perth. Having lived in Perth for over thirty years it's obvious that I love the place, though there are still things that irritate and make me squirm with embarrassment. Occasionally they will make an appearance; but generally speaking this is a pretty good place to live.

Sunday Evening in Freo
Dining in Fremantle on Sunday evening was a mixture of great and not so. My companion, the actual meal, the service and restaurant ambience all fell into the former.
