Black swans

Black swans are synonymous with Perth's Swan River

 Just a kilometre or so from my home is a great barbecue, swimming and boating spot for locals and tourists alike (though luckily not everyone in Perth has heard of this delightful area).  I rode the trusty, ' treadly' while my son took the harder road and jogged to this recently upgraded picnic spot.  As expected on a weekend, there was the usual gathering of families, eating, laughing and playing games, but it was the large number of those black birds that caught my eye.
