Tim Winton's new play, 'Signs of Life", currently playing in the State Theatre of WA proved a great way to spend a few hours. The story of a recently widowed woman, (played by Helen Morse) and her struggle with the drought stricken landscape is the setting for this entertaining examination of three Australian characters, all of whom are known to we who live here. Superbly acted, with a strong storyline that follows on from Tim Winton's successful novel, "Dirt Music" this insightful and heartwarming play proved a hit with the audience.
