About Me

My photo
Perth/Fremantle, Western Australia, Australia
An independent, working woman, I live in a riverside suburb close to both Fremantle and Perth. Having lived in Perth for over thirty years it's obvious that I love the place, though there are still things that irritate and make me squirm with embarrassment. Occasionally they will make an appearance; but generally speaking this is a pretty good place to live.

No. 1 Tourist Attraction

Without a doubt the No. 1 tourist attraction in Perth is King's Park. This large expanse of green covers some 1000 plus acres of land. It's perched above Perth and affords excellent views of both the city and another icon, The Swan River.
This time we did not venture far, but hunkered down for lunch in the very busy, Zamia Cafe, one of a number of eating venues that cater for a variety of tastes. One of the children's playgrounds was clearly visible from the windows.

  1. See Perth's most amazing tourist attractions with Paramount Limousines Perth

We take so many tourists for Perth City Tours and even the locals who haven't seen there backyard in a long time and without a doubt Kings Park is the biggest highlight for them
