Yesterday I watched the bees buzzing busily around my fast fading basil blooms.
It was hot and sticky, the smell of autumn replacing the overwhelming heat of W.A.'s driest Summer on record, with just a measily 0.2ml of rain having fallen the entire season.
My chillies are past their best and the last of the
capsicum are beginning to ripen. The weather bureau had been threatening the Perth Metro area with thunderstorms, but nothing eventuated.
