Winter Visit

Winter returned this week..... We have had almost a week of showers and another wet week is forecast. It certainly curtails the desire to go out.
I think many who have never been to Australia think that it is sunny most of the year and in some parts it is. I currently have a friend who is holidaying in Broome, WA and she delighted in telling me the weather is a glorious 29 oC. While we, here in Perth, shivered in a cool max of 15 oC.

Still I braved the cold last night and went out to visit some old friends. We were treated to a delicious home cooked meal of roast beef with all the trimmings. As usual the company was delightful and the following saying comes to mind.
"The Best Antiques are Old Friends."
